Mental Toughness Training for Teams That Want to Win Together

 

At Charge Forward Coaching, group coaching isn’t just about motivation—it’s about transformation. Whether you're leading a high school team, college program, professional team or athletic club, my group sessions are designed to build mental toughness, team cohesion, and competitive clarity.


Using neuroscience-backed strategies and the MTQPlus assessment, I help athletes develop the mindset needed to perform under pressure, support one another, and lead with confidence.

What’s Included in Group Coaching

 

✅ 90-Minute Power Sessions

High-energy, interactive coaching sessions designed to challenge athletes mentally and emotionally. Each session blends mindset training with real-time application, helping athletes build resilience, focus, and confidence under pressure.


✅ Group Mental Toughness Exercises

Team-based drills and challenges that reinforce the 4Cs—Control, Commitment, Challenge, and Confidence. These exercises are designed to simulate competitive stress, strengthen emotional control, and foster trust and accountability within the group.


✅ Role-Specific Coaching

I tailor mindset strategies to individual roles and positions—whether you're a quarterback, point guard, goalie, or team captain. Athletes learn how to lead from their position, manage pressure unique to their role, and elevate their impact on the team.


✅ Leadership Development Lessons

Athletes are coached on how to lead themselves and others. Topics include emotional intelligence, communication under pressure, handling setbacks, and modeling mental toughness. Captains and emerging leaders receive targeted coaching to help them guide their teams with clarity and confidence.


✅ Coach Collaboration & Integration

I work directly with coaching staff to align mental performance strategies with team culture, goals, and competitive demands. Coaches receive tools and language to reinforce mental toughness throughout the season.


✅ Follow-Up Support & Reinforcement

Optional follow-up huddles, workshops, or digital check-ins to reinforce progress, prepare for key competitions, and maintain momentum. These can be scheduled around game days, tournaments, or seasonal transitions.
